Helping you support your blood sugar, energy, and daily rhythms—
by working with your body’s patterns, not against them.
If you’ve been feeling overwhelmed, unsure where to start, or wanting a different way to support your health—
you’re in the right place.
Most approaches to Type 2 Diabetes focus on what to do—
what to eat, when to sleep, and how to move.
And while these matter… many women still find it hard to sustain change.
Not because they’re doing something wrong—
but because the body is responding to more than just habits.
Your body is constantly responding to how you experience stress—and life as a whole—
the rhythms you live by, your environment and relationships,
and the patterns your body has learned over time.
So even when you know what to do…
your body may not yet be ready to follow.
Everything you’ve tried may have helped in some way.
And still… something may feel incomplete.
Hard to name—but present.

This approach isn’t for everyone.
But for some women, it’s the moment something finally makes sense.
Your body is not something to fix or control—
it is something to listen to, understand, and work with.
This work gently brings together metabolic and circadian science with nervous system regulation practices, breathwork, and body-oriented-somatic practices—alongside Human Design and identity work—so you can begin to understand your body in a a deeper, more integrated way.
Not as another plan to follow—
but as a way to recognize what your body has been needing all along.
Rather than replacing what you’ve already learned,
this approach meets you where you are—and adds what may have been missing.
Because lasting change isn’t created by doing more.
It happens when your biology, your energy, and your identity begin working together.
So instead of trying to manage stress and life…
we learn how to work with your body’s response to them.
This is not about pushing harder.
It’s about learning to work with your body—
so change no longer feels like something you have to force.
Because when your body feels supported…
everything else begins to follow—
and life begins to feel like yours again.

A body-based, pattern-aware approach to supporting your wellness.
Because your body is where your life is actually happening—
and it is constantly responding to the patterns within it.
N — Nourish
Not just what you eat—
but how you receive.
Nourish your body, your mind, and your energy
through what you take in daily—food, thoughts, environment, and experiences.
Because everything you take in becomes part of how your body responds.
E — Embody
Come back into your body.
Many of us live in our thoughts, disconnected from the signals of the body.
Embodiment is the practice of arriving—
learning to feel, sense, and be present with what is happening within you.
Because the body is where your life is actually happening.
This is where your nervous system begins to settle,
and where real change becomes possible.
S — See Clearly
Understand your patterns with awareness and compassion.
As you begin to reconnect with your body, you start to notice what has been shaping your experience.
This includes:
Seeing clearly is not about judging or fixing.
It is about becoming aware—
so you can shift from reacting automatically
to responding with clarity, intention, and self-trust.
T — Tend
Tend to what matters most—by being present with your life.
Change doesn’t come from doing more.
It comes from how you show up to what is already here.
Tending is about:
This is where change becomes sustainable—
because it is lived, not forced.
This is where your life begins to feel like your own again.

We begin with a focused 3-month period of 1:1 coaching.

There's no pressure - just a space to connect and explore.
My Type 2 Diabetes diagnosis became a turning point.
Not because I found a better plan to follow—
but because I began to listen to my body in a different way.
As I started living more in rhythm with how my body naturally works,
my energy became steadier,
and my health began to shift in ways that felt sustainable.
What I came to understand is this:
The body has an innate capacity to restore—
but it responds best when it feels supported, safe, and understood.
Today, I bring together my background as a Registered Nurse,
Functional Medicine Certified Health Coach,
and National Board-Certified Health & Wellness Coach—
with a rhythm-based, whole-person approach that helps women
work with their bodies, rather than constantly trying to override them.
Rather than focusing only on fixing the body,
we begin by creating daily rhythms that support it.
And from there—
health, energy, and balance begin to follow.
For many women, this is the missing piece—
not more effort, but a way of working with the body that finally makes sense.
If something here resonates with you—
I'd love to connect with you.

If you’re living with Type 2 diabetes and feeling overwhelmed, you’re not alone.
You may already know what to do—but find it hard to stay consistent, or to make it work in your real life.

Coaching at The Nest is a collaborative, client-led process.
We focus on understanding your body, your patterns, and your daily rhythms—so you can begin to work with your body, rather than against it.
This is not about following a strict plan, but about creating a way of living that feels sustainable and supportive over time.
This approach is informed by Functional Medicine lifestyle principles, somatic coaching, Human Design insights, and consciousness-based frameworks such as Energy Codes® and Positive Intelligence® when helpful.
The goal is not to prescribe solutions, but to create space for insight, alignment, and sustainable change.
No.
This is health and lifestyle coaching.
Coaching at The Nest is not medical treatment, therapy, or diagnosis.
Although Sheila Certeza Asare is a Registered Nurse (RN), she serves in the role of coach during these sessions—not as a healthcare provider.
Coaching focuses on awareness, lifestyle exploration, and personal growth.
Clients are encouraged to continue working with their physicians and healthcare providers for medical care.
This is very common.
Change is not only about information—it’s also about how your body responds to stress, habits, and daily life.
In our work together, we explore what may be getting in the way and how to create changes that feel more realistic and sustainable.
Not at all.
Human Design is used as a reflective tool when helpful, but it is not required.
Our work is always grounded in your lived experience and what feels supportive for you.
This approach is different in that we focus on how your body responds and adapts—rather than trying to force change.
Often, small shifts in awareness and rhythm can lead to more sustainable change over time.
Coaching services are usually SELF-PAY and are not typically covered by insurance.
Some clients may choose to use HSA or FSA funds, depending on their individual plan. Please confirm eligibility with your provider.
